Who
is eligible to play?
Wheelchair basketball is not just for
individuals who use wheelchairs on a daily basis,
but also for those with orthopedic impairments, including but not
limited to permanent knee
injuries and leg / ankle discrepancies. Individuals who are unable to
play running basketball may be eligible! Open to individuals with
permanent lower extremity impairments, which may include leg weakness, spinal cord injury, spina bifida,
cerebral palsy, MS, traumatic brain injury or amputation and the list
goes on..
